As many of you know, the SBE has taken on the responsibility of frequency coordination around the country. This is a free volunteer service that helps broadcasters license auxiliary spectrum.

With that said, In NYC we had two fantastic coordinators, sadly Leo Rosenberg passed away late last year. He served for many years as our Above 1GHz Coordinator. We still have Louis Libin as our Below 1GHz Coordinator and he is helping to pick up the aAbove 1GHz requests.

We do however need someone to work as our above 1GHz Coordinator. This is a big responsibility and is volunteer. It is needed to help keep the NYC airways remain relatively tame…lol

If anyone is interested in helping, please email me for more info.

Thanks,

Jeff
