May EAS Update
I just posted this on the www.SBE15.com website EAS Section.
On May 3rd the National Weather Service will be issuing a RMT. NYC LP-1 stations will only be logging this alert and NOT forwarding them. This is being done for a few reasons. First NYC stations are not required to do so. Secondly, this is being issued in conjunction with "Severe Weather Awareness Week" and no one has any idea of the content or length of the message.
The May RMT will go off as previously scheduled.
