Seeking individuals with experience editing digital audio to assemble one-hour programs for a nationally-distributed radio reading service for the blind and visually impaired.  Volunteer editors, at their own locations and on their own equipment, will download new spoken-word segments each week and edit them together in a standard format with recurring program elements, music bridges, and public service announcements.  Editors will be responsible for visually checking waveforms for obvious problems, conforming audio levels, creating smooth transitions, bringing programs to time, uploading mono mp3 files to a server before the program’s deadline, and sending e-mails to programmers to confirm delivery.  We’re asking for a commitment of at least two hours of your time each week.
