Hello Jeff

I am an Audio Engineer who Tours with many of the internationally known Contemporary Smooth Jazz Artists Too many names to list

Over the Years many Jazz fans who frequent Jazz Concerts in the Tri-State area know that I am also in Broadcasting I am getting an Ear full from fans who show up at shows Will there ever be another Jazz station in the Tri-State area My answer to them is as long as there are CONSULTANTS who tell the broadcasters what to Play I doubt it I hear from Jazz Fans all the Time "Whats with the people that own 101 9 in NYC Just what we need another Rock station like a Hole in the head, will they ever bring smooth Jazz back?" I Mix many of the Big Jazz Festivals like: The Burks Jazzfest,Harrisburg,Detroit,Jacksonville Beach, Rehobeth, Hartford,Syracuse,Columbus,OH,SpringField,OH,Seabreeze(panama city) Fla,Boca,Atlanta,Ga ,Capital City(Columbia,MD),and others

At these shows So many fans they can Fill Venues Garden many times over

All major City's, and markets, Not one Jazz station in any of them Whats wrong with this picture If not for Internet Jazz stations promoting shows there would be Zero promotion, Yet the Fans Keep showing up by the thousands

Pass this along to the Brains at Merlin Bring back Smooth Jazz to 101 9 NYC
