We Need Your Help

The Beez Foundation raises money to fight pediatric brain cancer - the second most prevalent cancer, and the number one killer of children. Our funds go towards proof-of-concept research, patient services and public education.  The Foundation is 100% volunteer with all money going towards program support and grants.  To date we have raised over $200,000 and supported programs at Memorial-Sloan Kettering, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Pennsylvania and many other institutions.

One of our primary fundraisers is our annual Rubber Duck Race where we drop 5,000 rubber ducks from a huge duck egg into the Raritan Canal in New Brunswick, NJ where the duckies race down the water to the finish line.  This year’s race will be on Sunday, September 23rd, as part of the Raritan River Festival.  Our prizes are a $1,000 AmEx gift card, an Apple iPad and a third prize of a $250.00 AmEx gift card.

We are in need of technical types that can assist in installing the duck booms, rigging the gigantic duck egg, setting up the speaker systems, etc.  We are also looking for any additional sound systems we could utilize for announcing during the race.

Also, folks should know that they can adopt a duck on line at www.beezfoundation.org.  For more info, contact Joe at jgiardina@PROTECTED
