Hello everyone…

I am sorry I am just getting around to writing this, as you all know, things have been a little crazy! I hope everyone is doing OK and moving forward after Sandy. I know many NYC stations and engineers personally suffered losses in the storm. My thoughts are with all the people struggling!

NYC media has done a fantastic job with reporting before, during and after the storm and with helping the victims of Sandy.

Now that we have all cast our votes in the National election, let's cast our votes for our chapter. If you are an active SBE member in good standing you can vote on our website. Voting will be open until next Wednesday and we will announce the winners at our next meeting.

Speaking of meetings, Gary Leibisch from Nautel will be presenting Nautel’s new LPTV transmitter as well as their new NV-LT FM transmitter line. The meeting will be Thursday the 15th. We will have dinner at 6pm and the meeting starts at 7pm. I will let you know a site as soon as I get one. If you can host please let me know. The RSVP will be up on the sbe15.com site.
