This is a great reminder from John Lyons…..This happened at 4TS but it shows the FCC takes unauthorized operations in this spectrum serious.

To All,

Please be advised that we had an FCC inspection due to one of our Licensees using the portion of the unlicensed spread-spectrum guard band reserved for Public Safety. The FCC Spectrum Map and Advisory at attached.

You cannot operate between 5.590 and 5.677 GHZ. Period!!!

Please observe this Advisory. We do not wish to have to play enforcer on this issue and do not wish to see the FCC show up on the doorstep demanding that the violator shut down immediately or get fined.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation on this very important issue.
