Hope everyone had a great summer! It’s that time of year again…time to start SBE 15 meetings again.

It’s also time to come up with nominees for the the SBE 15 local leadership positions. At this meeting I would like to select someone to oversee elections for out chapter in October. We will need people to be Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. I hope Chris, Andy and Bill are interested in keeping their positions! The Chair position that I am in will, however, need to change. After 10 years as Chair of SBE 15 it is time for me to step down. In the past 10 years we have grown the chapter, increased certification and established an online presence. We have also continued to build local partnerships with AES and SMPTE.

So… I hope one or more of you will consider running for the Chairman position and all the other SBE 15 leadership positions!!

At this meeting, IHSE will be here to talk about how KVM can help in the broadcast facility workflow. It will be a very interesting meeting. It will be at iHeart Media in Tribeca on Thursday 9/26 at 6pm. All the info and RSVP is at www.sbe15.com
