If you’ve let your certifications lapse, and would like to get them back – WITHOUT TAKING THE TEST, SBE has a deal for you. If your certification expired between January 1999 and January 2012, you can have it
reinstated for a fee of $100 – no test required ($150 for a CPBE but you could choose a Senior class exam at the lower rate instead). Just fill out the “Jubilee Cert App”
http://www.sbe.org/sections/documents/JubileeProjectapplication.pdf
These fees only apply if you are a current member. If not, the non-member fee would apply (add an additional $75).
The more observant members of the chapter might notice that it is cheaper to just apply for and take the exam, and they would be correct. What you would be doing by going the Jubilee route is to pay a little
extra to get your certification back without taking time out to take the test.
So, you now have 2 paths to get your lapsed certifications back:
1.
The old fashioned take the test the method
2.
The old fashioned “slip some guy some cash” and get the cert method

The choice is yours.
