Hi all….

 

Well they say all things must change, and so they do here at SBE 15.

 

First, for those that haven’t heard, I have resigned my position at CBS Radio to join Clear Channel’s Premiere Networks here in NYC.  I can still of course be reached at my SBE email. jeffsmith@PROTECTED.

 

Second, the annual SBE BBQ has a new venue this year. Due to ongoing work at WOR and many other AM sites in the Meadowlands, we had to find a new location. Jason Ornellas was kind enough to offer up Greater Media’s facilities in NJ. So, this year’s BBQ will be at the WMTR transmitter site located at 55 Horsehill Road in Cedar Knolls, NJ. That is about 35-40 minutes outside on Manhattan. This year will once again be sponsored by our good friends at BGS! In addition we will have the Telos van stopping by to demo all the cool new stuff they showed off at NAB, including their new AES Composite system they worked with Nautel on.

 

The BBQ will be on Thursday, May 23^rd and the festivities will start at 6pm and go until Jason throws us out J
