In case y’all hadn’t heard:   *Subject:* Re: [sbe-eas] CAPS Test   Sage Digital ENDECs did not receive the weekly test messages from FEMA on Monday, January 13.  This was not a problem with IPAWS.  A security certificate used to authenticate IPAWS messages has expired in the ENDEC.  This will keep your ENDEC from receiving IPAWS CAP messages.  You must install a small update in your ENDEC to re-enable IPAWS messages.  Downloading and installing the update will take only a few minutes ...Continue Reading

The December RMT for New Jersey ran one night later than usual as I remember it.  So instead of overnight on the 3rd Tuesday in ran about 1am on Wednesday Dec 18th. I also saw it relayed by WFPG Atlantic City and WRAT Belmar, NJ.    I have a copy of the NJ EAS plan on pc I can email.  It specifies the details on which station should monitor which. I use as DTV converter audio output to monitor NJTV. Next month January the RMT would normally be the 3rd Tuesday about 10:50 or 11 AM.  George Kowa ...Continue Reading
