I am sure Charlie misses you as well. But you are correct, there was no RWT sent. It had been scheduled for the 6:45p break on Friday, but for some unknown reason, the jock decided he did not need to run this. This weeks RWT is scheduled for Wednesday @ 11:45a. //shaun On May 6, 2013, at 11:59 AM, Marshall, George wrote: Did anyone get a RWT from WNSH (NASH-FM) last week? Anyone have a contact there? Thanks for the responses. I was concerned that maybe I was overlooking a source for the NYC RMT, since I couldn’t remember ever receiving one from the NWS before. Looking forward to the real one next Wednesday. Thanks again! My suggestion is to check your EAS units. Many of the newer units can be set to ignore certain alerts (RMT) from certain providers (WXR). In the Sage Digital, just change the incoming filter for RMTs from “ALL Originators” to everything except the weather service. That will have the sage log reception of the RMT from the Weather Service but not forward it. Just a thought. NWS does this once per year, as part of 'National Weather Awareness Week". Usually it's in the middle of April, but I guess they were a bit late this year. Also, I usually get an advance notice of this, but this year, nothing. IANAL, but my understanding is that the NWS RMT does not need to be forwarded it, since NWS is not a mandatory monitoring source. However, you will still need to forward next week's scheduled RMT, because that it the one that is coming from your mandatory monitor ...Continue Reading

We fielded one today from them. Does this now count as our RMT if we forwarded it?
